Maureen Hinke Hahn ’73 brings 8th Graders to Emmitsburg
Maureen Hinke Hahn. ’73, a teacher at St. Ursula School in Parkville, MD. accompanied the 8th grade class on October 27, 2015 for the annual 8th Grade Retreat. The day began with Mass, celebrated by St. Ursula pastor Fr. Steve Hook, in the glass chapel at the Grotto. After a walk through the Grotto grounds, the group enjoyed lunch at Mt. St. Mary's University. The afternoon featured a visit to the Seton Shrine with a tour of the Basilica, Stone House, White House, and Cemetery. This is the 18th year for this Retreat, which has become very popular with the parents as well.
